With over 1,700 young people and volunteers across the District, we’re always looking for passionate people to join our growing #TeamSouthRibble. Whether you can offer a few hours each month, support a specific project or take on a leadership role, there’s a place for you here.
We’re committed to building teams that reflect the communities we serve and welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences and walks of life. No previous Scouting experience is required for many of our roles.

Trustees:
- District Trustee – We’re looking for people with a range of skills and experiences to join our District Trustee Board and support the delivery of great Scouting for young people and volunteers. Find out more and apply
Youth Team:
- Youth Team Members – Help create a District where young people feel heard, valued and able to belong. By supporting youth voice and leadership opportunities, you’ll help shape the future of Scouting in South Ribble. Find out more and apply
Volunteer Team Leaders:
- Volunteer Development Team Leader – Support, train and inspire volunteers across South Ribble, helping them gain confidence and skills while providing the best experiences for young people. Find out more and apply
- Support Team Leader – Help strengthen Scouting across South Ribble by leading a team of volunteers supporting communications, governance, events, technology and District operations. You’ll help create the foundations that enable volunteers and young people to thrive. Find out more and apply.

- Resolution Lead – Help create a positive and supportive volunteering environment by guiding the resolution of concerns and disagreements fairly, respectfully and in line with Scouts policies. - Safety Lead – Champion a strong safety culture across South Ribble Scouts, helping volunteers understand and manage risks so young people can enjoy safe, exciting and adventurous experiences. You’ll support leaders and teams to make safety part of everything we do. Find out more and apply

- Digital & IT Team Lead – Help make volunteering easier through technology. You’ll lead digital tools, systems and innovation that support volunteers, improve communication and help Scouting thrive across South Ribble. Find out more and apply

- Programme Team Members – Are you passionate about creating meaningful experiences for young people?
