Every week, volunteers across South Ribble give their time, skills and energy to create brilliant experiences for young people.
So this one’s for you.
Join us for the South Ribble Scouts Volunteer Thank You Social – an informal evening to get together, catch up with friends, meet volunteers from across the District and, most importantly, celebrate everything you make possible.
Date: Friday 9 October 2026
Venue: St Mary’s Community Centre, Concert Room
Who: South Ribble Scouts volunteers
Scouting is about more than the role you do. It’s about the friendships we build, the experiences we share and being part of something bigger.
Our Thank You Social is a chance to step away from meetings, planning and programmes for an evening and simply enjoy spending time together.
Whether you’ve been volunteering for years or have only recently joined us, we’d love you to come along.
It’s another opportunity to make South Ribble Scouts A Place to Belong for our volunteers as well as our young people.
This isn’t a meeting, and there isn’t an agenda.
It’s simply an opportunity to relax, socialise and enjoy an evening with other volunteers from across South Ribble.
More information about the evening will be shared with those attending.
We’d love to see you there.
Please book your place in advance to help us plan for the evening.
Hundreds of volunteers make Scouts happen across South Ribble.
Whatever your role, however much time you’re able to give and however you support Scouting locally – thank you.
This evening is about celebrating you.
Come along, bring your Scouting friends and let’s celebrate together.
