Scout Network (18-25)

Do you like Adventure? Do you like challenge? No matter your background, knowledge or Scouting history, there is a place in South Ribble Scout Network for you.

We are all about scouting on your own terms, and engaging in a social life with purpose.

Scout Network members take part in a variety of activities, which they undertake and organise themselves under the leadership of a District Scout Network Commissioner.

The Programme is divided into three Programme Areas: Community, International and Adventure. Each of these areas is supported by a Programme Co-ordinator. (Can you help with our programme? Contact us here!)

Explorer Scouts who are approaching their 18th birthday will be automatically transitioned to the District Scout Network in which they undertook their Explorer Scouting. After this, they can choose to join other District Scout Networks or adjust their membership so that they are members of the UK Scout Network only.

Young adults who are not members of a District Explorer Scout Unit can make contact with the District Scout Network Commissioner who will take them through the joining process.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
