The secret is out – South Ribble District Camp is coming in 2027.

We’re getting ready to bring our Scouting community together for one big weekend – and we’re already excited about what’s ahead.

Taking place 16th – 18th July 2027, District Camp will bring young people and volunteers from across South Ribble together for a shared adventure and the chance to be part of something bigger.

For now, we’re keeping some of the details to ourselves. Where are we going? What’s planned? You’ll have to wait a little longer to find out.

What we can promise is plenty of opportunities to try something new, make new friends and create some brilliant Scouting memories.

District Camp is also another step in bringing our District closer together. As we continue to reflect on what we do, renew opportunities across South Ribble and refocus on delivering great experiences for young people, events like this give us the opportunity to turn that ambition into action.

And we won’t be doing it alone.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll start looking for volunteers to help us build the team behind District Camp, with roles and tasks of all shapes and sizes. Whether you’ve helped deliver a District Camp before or this would be your first time getting involved, there’ll be opportunities to be part of it.
