Do you have a creative streak? Love storytelling, taking photos, or designing fun graphics? We’re on the lookout for volunteers to join our South Ribble Scouts Media & Engagement Team — and you don’t need to be a pro to get involved.
Whether you’re a social-savvy student, a budding content creator, or someone who loves sharing good news, there’s a place for you on our team.
What’s the Media Team All About?
At South Ribble Scouts, incredible things happen every day—from adventurous camps and community action projects to young people gaining skills that last a lifetime. But we need your help to celebrate those moments and share Scouting’s impact with the wider world.
You could get involved in:
- 📷 Capturing photos or short videos at local events
- ✍️ Writing blogs or news articles
- 📱 Helping with social media posts
- 🎨 Creating simple graphics or posters
- 🎬 Editing quick video clips or reels
It’s flexible and task-based — perfect for balancing study, work, or other commitments. You can pick up tasks that fit your schedule and skills, whether 30 minutes a week or an hour a month.
