Cubs from South Ribble smash it at County Cub Challenge Day!

This weekend Cub Scouts from across the County descended on Waddecar Scout Activity Centre, in Lancashire for an action-packed day of fun challenge and adventure for County Cub Challenge Day.

In a close competition throughout the day cubs from 8th Penwortham and Brindle St. Joseph’s made the top three showing great teamwork while having a lot of fun, despite the weather.

1st Place: 8th Penwortham Scout Group (209 Points)

2nd Place: 1st Charlton Scout Group (208 Points)

3rd Place: Brindle St. Joseph’s Scout group (205 Points)

A huge thank you to all the volunteers from across the District, County and at Waddecar Scout Activity Centre for a fantastic event! We can’t wait for next year!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
