SUMMIT Returns – Bringing South Ribble Together

South Ribble Scouts is delighted to announce the return of SUMMIT, our all-volunteer engagement and networking events.
As we continue our journey to Reflect. Refocus. Renew. SUMMIT will provide regular opportunities for volunteers from across the District to come together, hear updates, access support, share ideas and help shape the future of Scouting in South Ribble.
Aligned with Scouts UK’s A Place to Belong strategy, SUMMIT is designed to strengthen connections, encourage collaboration and create opportunities for volunteers to learn from one another and feel part of something bigger.
Each SUMMIT event will feature a mix of:
- District team information and support stalls
- Informal networking opportunities
- Short talks and updates
- Small group discussions
- Opportunities to share ideas and feedback
- Information on volunteering opportunities and District initiatives
Whether you’re a Team Member, Team Leader, Trustee or supporter, SUMMIT is your opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers, learn what’s happening across the District and play a part in shaping our future.
Jon Nutten, Interim Lead Volunteer for South Ribble Scouts, said: “SUMMIT is about bringing people together. Scouting is built on people. When volunteers connect, collaborate and learn from one another, we create stronger teams, better experiences for young people and a stronger sense of belonging across our District.
