What’s on!

Craig Dewar-Willox had this to say:

‘Happy New Year! I am excited to welcome you to our very first camp for all members of West Lancashire Scouts. Together, there are 13,000 Scouts in West Lancashire, so this promises to be the biggest event that we’ve ever hosted- and we’ve embraced technology and taken it online…

Throughout the weekend you can take part in a range of activities, from indoor den building to hiking your local area and cooking to creating memories. So, whether you do everything, or just join some of the activities, I know you are going to have great fun, with the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people.

My thanks to everyone who has pulled this awesome weekend together and my thanks to you, for taking part and adapting to the changes and challenges that have happened over the last 10 months. As Scouts, we have so much to look forward to in 2021, and Xplode is a great event to kick start the year.

I look forward to seeing you over the weekend.’

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
