West Lancs – Leadership Conference 2022

West Lancs Leadership Conference 2022 – 26th February 2022

Following on from the success of the GSL Conference last year we’ve expanded our invite list for this year’s ‘Leadership Conference’ to include Group Scout Leaders, Acting Group Scout Leaders, Deputy Group Scout Leaders, District Explorer Scout Commissioners, District Scout Network Commissioners, District Chairs, District Secretaries and District Treasurers. The County Commissioner writes to you with details for this year’s event which we hope you can attend.

The event will be held at Our Lady’s Catholic High School, St Anthony’s Drive, Fulwood, Preston PR2 3SQ on Saturday 26th February. Registration will open at 9.15am for a 9.30am start. The day will conclude at 4pm.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This event is a great opportunity for all those involved in managing adults in West Lancs to come together and share good practice, input to our future plans and hopefully leave energised ready for the year ahead.

Whilst we are finalising details of our programme, Craig can confirm that the following elements will be part of the day:
An update from HQ, from a member of Team UK
An update on the County Strategy
An update on Safe Scouting and resources to support this.
Some spotlights on groups- sharing things that have worked well for them.

We will obviously also include some social activities to ensure that we have lots of fun throughout the day too.
