There are 3 levels for the event and they are:

Tailor made to suit the needs of the participant as agreed with the organisers.
Route and Campsite will be based on the Blue and Yellow options. This could include
individuals or twos or threes who are prepared to walk with others. The walk could be
taken as an independent team or with a leader. Further options could include Day 1 or Day
2 only with or without an overnight camp. For the full weekend the cost will be same as
options below, but would be reduced if not camping.

Blue

District. Walking with a day rucksack and your camping equipment transported to the
overnight campsite. Teams of 4 to 7. This option does not meet the requirement of the
Platinum Expedition but could be used as Training. Cost £TBC, plus your own food and
transport to and from the event.

Yellow

A two day two night expedition, navigating through stunning parts of the Lake
District. Walking carrying your own kit. Teams of 4 to 7. This option meets the requirement
of the Platinum Expedition . This can be undertaken as a challenge or as part of the
competition. Cost £TBC, plus your own food and transport to and from the event.
Expression of interest by 1st August – Closing date for entries 1st September.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
