Why choose Scouting? It enables young people to have FUN whilst helping them to achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local and international communities.  They can gain skills, badges and awards that will be a credit to their applications for college, university or work but most of all they will mix with other young people in a friendly and safe environment and have fun. Scouting enables adult volunteers to gain confidence, enjoy challenging activities, make friends and develop new skills in leadership, team work, programme management, planning and understanding young people, plus much more.
